WINE MAKING INFORMATION

In addition to expanded inventory levels through out the store, the next biggest change is in Mr. Suds’ Wine Making Center.  The old “back room” that was previously retail floor space has been remodeled and expanded to provide the space, equipment, controlled temperature for tasting and making award-winning, fine wines.  If you’re interested in learning to make wine but are hesitant over the equipment investment, we offer a “try before you buy program”.  We walk you through every step of the process and in thirty days you have thirty bottles of your own custom labeled wine, which you can proudly pour and say, I made this!  Classes start every week and require 4 to 5 visits to complete the process.  Call the store for more details and to arrange a time for your first appointment.

Mr. Suds features a complete line of award-winning wine kits from across the country and around the world.   We carry a wide line of equipment, ingredients, and supplies for whatever level of home wine maker you are.  We also have processing and bottling equipment available for rental that makes the bigger jobs easier.  If you question the quality of wine that you can make here, please know that Mr. Suds signature wine, Strawberry Blush, is the featured wine served at Oxnard’s Strawberry Festival each year.
